We guarantee you will be standing, paddling, cruising and having a blast by the end of your first lesson or tour. We provide a unique way to get into shape, have fun and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We offer guided paddle board tours, paddle board lessons, paddle board fitness classes, excursions, parties, corporate team building events, and more.
We Come To You
One of the many highlights of Rhode Island is the 400+ miles of coastline. That gives us almost endless options of water to explore and for that reason, we operate as a mobile business and we travel to you or to a pre-determined location. If you have a specific area in mind, let us know and if the conditions and access allow for it, we're happy to accommodate anywhere in Rhode Island.
What is SUP?
It starts with standing up, on water. SUP stands for "Stand Up Paddling". SUP is an ancient form of surfing, yet it is most widely enjoyed on relatively flat water. The first stand up paddle surfers emerged in the early 1950's in Waikiki. The Waikiki "Beach Boys" gave surf lessons but the tourists eventually wanted pictures to prove they actually rode a wave. One of the beach boys came up with the idea of borrowing a paddle from an outrigger canoe, slinging the camera around his neck and standing on his board the entire time. The rest is history. SUP was born....
The Brands We Choose
Having over a decade of SUP experience, we have tried pretty much every brand manufacturer that has existed in the industry. We believe in and trust the equipment that we use, therefore we only carry equipment from two brands, Infinity and Black Project. All of our boards (surf, flat water, race and downwind, yoga/lessons) are made by Infinity. For paddles and fins, we exclusively use Black Project. They make the lightest and strongest designs out there. Both brands continuously innovate and help to push the sport forward.
